#SOLSC24: March Madness

March Madness

It’s time.

The brackets are set.

Five teams: two men’s and three women’s.

It’s time.

One team is second in the country.

One team is fourth in the country.

It’s time.

Set the schedule.

Complete the brackets.

It’s time!

The instate bracket is on my watch list.

2 pm on Saturday in Carver-Hawkeye Arena!

What matchup are you looking forward to? Which bracket will be the hardest to predict?

  1. I’m with you, Fran! Could be elite 8 meet-ups for our teams in the men’s and women’s worlds! How fun would that be!!!

  2. We had a healthy dose of March Madness at our house last night. Despite having a fever, Ari perked up when Marc told him the brackets were out. The two of them got right into picking their teams. (I think they have UConn going all the way.)

This morning, the little stinker told his older sister, who doesn’t like land sports, that the higher numbers were better. Oh, did I call out that lie quickly!

  3. […] I write about March Madness and basketball brackets like this fan has? I have to […]

  4. One more thing to add to the frenzy that is March. Good luck to your teams.

    1. It’s fun to watch for sure!

  5. I’m making my Colombian co-worker make a bracket for his first time ever! Will have to keep everyone posted.

    1. What fun!
Any given team can win on any given day. When it comes down to the brackets, it’s not always the highest rank that wins.

  6. I’m rooting for our Hawkeyes men team tonight. I hope they can go far in the NIT, but who knows. I’ve been avidly following the women’s team all year. They’ve got a great team and coaches. They’ve got a rough row to hoe as they say, but I hope they win the whole thing. Wouldn’t that be incredible! It’s always great to see all our Iowa teams do well.

    1. Toughest bracket for sure!
